Enable Earns Positive Licensing Review

Annually, licensing inspectors from the NJ Department of Human Services review all of Enable’s group homes and supervised apartment programs. Once again, all programs received full licensure as a result. This year we are proud to note that we had fewer deficiencies with no repeat deficiencies or substantive deficiencies.

Board Holds Annual Retreat September 26

Under the leadership of its newly elected President Kathleen Bagley, the Enable Board of Trustees will be holding its annual retreat on September 26th. The retreat is a time for the trustees to learn about current issues, review progress on meeting organizational goals, and to get to know one another better. This year the special presentation will include a discussion of the many changes that are occurring within the State Department of Developmental Disabilities.

Robin Bynoe Hired as Director of Finance

This summer Robin Bynoe joined Enable as the Director of Finance. Ms. Bynoe brings over 12 years of accounting and finance experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in mental health. She has her Master’s degree in Business Administration. In her previous positions, she has been involved in cost allocation methodology, fee for service billing, development of financial policies and procedures, audits and many other areas where Enable is seeking to strengthen its finance department.
