Designated Giving

You may give a gift to Enable that is designated for a specific use. To ensure that we can actually use the gift, you should always contact us before you make a designated gift. In 2009, parents of one of the group homes donated funds that paid for a 12’x12’ addition and front porch. The effort was spearheaded by the mother of a resident who wanted to do something special for her son who lived there just as she had helped her other children as they became young adults and settled down.

Brookside Group Home Enjoys New Addition

In August 2008, exciting work was going on at our Brookside Group Home in Monmouth County. With generous donations from the parents of the four men who reside there, the living room was extended twelve feet and a front porch was added. New carpeting, a large front window, and freshly painted walls gives the front of the home a fresh, new feel

“The addition has benefited both the staff and consumers. More space is available for the residents to relax with each other and entertain friends,” says Tekia Boatwright, Residential Manager.

If you want to make a donation, we will work with you to ensure you know it is valued and put to good use. Contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
